Bird Lists
These easy-to-use bird lists should be
a valuable part of planning and maximizing
your birding trip to duPlooy's, around Belize,
and even Tikal in Guatemala, as well keeping
your records for future reference. After
your visit, we'd love to include your personal
list here with our other birders' lists.
We try to keep these lists up to date with
the information we have.

duPlooy's area bird list:
The original version of this list was compiled
by Ken duPlooy with the help of Steve N.G.
Howell (co-author with Sophie Webb of A
Guide to the Birds of Mexico and Northern
Central America, 1995). Additional
sightings have been documented by Philip
Mai, the official birding nut and resident
guide at duPlooy's. Many thanks are due
to Nita and Clark Hamilton who have kept
this list taxonomically up to date.

Birders' Lists:
We want you to get involved! Got a Belize
bird list? If you have your own website
or another place we can see your list,
we will link to it from this page. If you
don't, we'd be happy to include it on the
duPlooy's site. Either way, please
