The duPlooy's Birding Group Package
The Cayo District of Belize is well known
for its abundant bird life. There have been
over 300 species recorded within a 5-miles
radius of duPlooy’s Jungle Lodge and
Belize Botanic Gardens. With easy access
to river, field, pond, forest and mountain
habitat, you will be sure to add to your
life list. You are welcome to bring your
own guide, but it is not necessary. Three
of the top bird guides in Belize are on
duPlooy’s staff and all of them have
excellent references.
For more information about birding at duPlooy's and around
Belize, see our extensive Birding
section, with checklists, photos, tips and more.
This trip is for serious birders. If you don’t want to spend all of your time looking at our
feathered friends, sign up for one of the other packages because you will still see plenty of birds. A guided early morning bird walk on the property and/or a night walk is included whenever you choose.
duPlooy's is the perfect place to bring or send a group of any type. With our expert
staff guides there is no need to bring an additional guide. Our efficient, friendly office staff will cater to your requests, and with vehicles to suit any size group, you can just relax and leave everything to us. You will be met at the Belize City Airport and accompanied by your guide/s throughout the trip.
The itinerary listed below is for 8 nights, 9 days.
