duPlooy's Jungle Lodge is a small eco resort located on the banks of the Macal River, and adjacent to Belize Botanic Gardens. Encompassing over a hundred acres of varied habitat and miles of trails with features such as a Maya Medicine trail, native plant house, traditional Maya house built from materials gathered on the property and our large sandy beach, (a great place to have a swim, canoe, tube or just relax after a day of jungle trekking or ruin climbing), make this the ideal jungle vacation spot. Over 300 species on the property and surrounding areas make Birding a must-do activity and the abundance of Other Wildlife, gives you the opportunity to view creatures you may not have seen before.
The rooms at our hotel are large and comfortable and the Rates include continental breakfast. There are Accommodations to suit everyone and our all-inclusive vacation packages make it affordable to bring the whole family from grandma to the youngest. Two-bedroom units in La Casita, Jungle Lodge Connecting Rooms, and three and four-bedroom units in the Belize River House provide accommodations for families, students or any other type group; while our Bungalow Cottages, just for two, with a private porch, hammock, full kitchen, and king-sized bed are perfect for your romantic getaway or honeymoon. Our original Jungle Lodge Rooms with two queen-sized beds provide spacious comfortable sleeping quarters.
